Formerly known as Casa Vidrio del Mar
Rincón del Descanso — Spanish for “rest and relaxation corner” — is our Caribbean counterpart to the Time-Out Corner name, and a beautiful, relaxing oceanfront home on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. This friendly, safe and scenic five-mile-long island off the coast of Cancún has preserved the beauty and charm of a Mexican fishing village.
Enjoy the turquoise hues of the Caribbean from your private solar-heated pool, and a sandy beach right outside your door. The rooftop palapa offers views of the sunrise over the Caribbean and sunsets over Cancún Bay.
Located right on the ocean just outside of town, it's a short 15-minute walk or brief taxi ride to spectacular North Beach and the downtown area with its great restaurants, shops, and nightlife on Hidalgo Street.

During July and August, sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach right in front of the house. Watch them from the patio as they make their way to shore under the moonlight.
